What is
Clinical Hypnotherapy?

“Clinical Hypnotherapy has the potential to ‘fast track’ your treatment by efficiently bridging the subconscious mind with the conscious mind.”

What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a combination of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy.

Q: ‘Will I be in control of myself whilst I’m in a trance state?’

A: Yes. You will be in complete control of yourself and you will not do anything against your own will whilst in hypnosis.

Q: ‘Is Hypnosis a form of magic?’

A: No. We all go into a spontaneous state of trance within our every day. It is a natural function of the human mind. An effective therapist will harness this natural function, inducing a trance state and skillfully administering psychotherapy that supports and empowers you in your endeavours to live a better life.

Recommended Clinical Hypnotherapy Session Framework & Pricing

Session 1 is a discovery 2hr consultation that is deeply therapeutic in itself. We will discern your core presenting problem, the underlying cause of the symptoms that have brought you into therapy. It will include an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your expectations and gauge your suitability for hypnosis. It is my intention that you will have an enlightening self discovery experience with a clear road map to obtaining a healthier, happier you. Please note, this session does not contain hypnosis.

Follow-up Sessions. With all the initial matters addressed within the first session, a 1.5hr follow up session is intended to be a focused approach to your presenting issue and an introduction to hypnosis. Your neurological ability to work with hypnosis will increase with every session.

Sessions held at the Plein Air Therapies in clinic in Westmeadows and Moonee Ponds, as well as via Telehealth Clinic on the Zoom platform.
